What's included
Free + total chlorine. The sanitizer that keeps the water safe. Sarasota sun burns it off — has to be steady.
Acid vs. base. Wrong pH eats your equipment, irritates eyes, and lets algae grow. Most-often ignored number on a residential pool.
pH’s bodyguard. Without alkalinity, the pH bounces around all week. Stabilizer for the stabilizer.
Too low and the water dissolves your plaster. Too high and you get scaling on the tile line. Florida tap water is high — it gets watched.
Salt pools need the cell ppm right and the stabilizer (CYA) right or the chlorine doesn’t hold. Easy to miss until it isn’t.
If something’s off, we adjust it during the visit — no waiting, no second appointment. Most weeks it’s a small dose.

Hoffman Pool Services is a one-route cleaning + chemistry crew, not a pool-equipment shop. When something needs fixed, we tell you what's wrong and point you at someone we trust.
Pump, filter, heater, salt cell — flagged early so you can call your equipment guy before it fails on a Saturday.
Plaster, pebble, tile work — that’s a different trade. We tell you when it’s time to think about it.
Leak detection, line breaks, screen-cage damage — flagged on the visit, referred to the right specialist.
